Fic: Barricade, Frenzy


It was sunny, but not a hot day. Barricade drove along the road, heading towards the city.
Frenzy, the little gremlin-like Decepticon sat on passenger seat, watching cars that passed them by.

"Barricade! Go faster, go faster!!!!!" Frenzy yelled, while tapping Barricade’s windshield.
"Why should I?" Barricade answered with a grumble.
Even if he had a liking to drive fast, he wasn't in the mood for it right now.

"Past the cars! Past the cars!!! People stupid!! Want to win them!! Go faster!!!" Frenzy said with a maniacal giggle.

"........If we must.." Barricade sighted, engine roaring he speeded down the highway.
In no time, Barricade had succeed in passing those cars that passed them a while ago.
Little Decepticon jumped happily from passenger seat to the driver seat and back.
He hated when earthlings got in front of them...Frenzy just didn't like humans, not at all.

The day was beginning to turn into night. Barricade was feeling tired for driving such a long trip, and they still haven't reached their destination, New York. His and Frenzy's mission was to find the Allspark cube, along with all of the rest of the Decepticons.
Barricade drove in gas stations, car parks and finaly sighed. He was tired, unlike his hyperactive partner Frenzy, who just jumped from the seat to other and laughed in glee.
It was making Barricade annoyed, frustrated even.

"Grrrr!! SIT DOWN AND SHUT UP!!!" Barricade growled. He was tired and wasn’t in the best of moods to stand his energetic partner.

Frenzy sat down quietly and looked little a bit scared. He wasn’t used to get any shouts from the normaly calm police car Decepticon. Even thought it didn't seem like it, Frenzy was a pretty sensitive little Decepticon.

There where couple of minutes of silence, but Barricade broke it soon.

"Frenzy... I... please forgive me... I'm just tired of all this driving from place A to place B... It just so exhausting and even I have limits in my patience with you..but I do enjoy your company" Barricade said, his engine giving a light purr as a smile, perhaps.  

Frenzy heard the remorse in his partners voice, the soft purr of the cars engine made the little Decepticon smile little bit.
"..Okay.. Frenzy undestands..." he answered, streaching his arms and yawned.
Frenzy get’s a nice sitting position on Barricade’s drivers seat and close’s his eyes... Now he was getting tired, not a suprise with all that energy he spent with jumping on the poor seats.

"Good night, sleep tight, my dear comrade" Barricade said quietly and put the seatbelt on Frenzy, to secure him to the seat.
Because the little Decepticon had a bad habbit of going somewhere at night, but not this time, he was making sure of it, the tiny Decepticon stayed in the car tonight.
Barricade yawned and in moment’s he too was a sleep, just like him minimatic gremlin partner.
